Last minute polling trends, party strategies and the likely outcomes of W.A.'s State election will be under scrutiny at a public seminar presented at The University of Western Australia on election eve.

The seminar - ‘The 2008 State Election: Polls, Prospects and the Politics of Pork' - will be presented by political blogger and doctoral student William Bowe.

Mr Bowe is studying Political Science and International Relations at UWA and publishes the electoral studies website https://www.pollbludger.com/ .  He also contributes to the Crikey and New Matilda websites.

The seminar will be held at 11am on Friday 5 September 2008.
