The Master of Logistic Engineering and Management course developed in collaboration with the UWA Business School and the Shanghai Maritime University (SMU) was launched on Saturday 24 March in Shanghai.

After successfully completing their English requirement, 34 students commenced their studies as UWA Business School candidates in Shanghai.

Professor John Taplin (Program Director), Dr Min Qiu and Ms Tracy Taylor (Program Administrator) attended the launch hosted by the SMU President, Professor Yu Shicheng, and Vice President, Professor Jin Yongxing.

This is a two year coursework/dissertation program with both UWA Business School and SMU staff teaching the students. The students have eight coursework units to complete this year and are very excited to be a part of the UWA Business School. Many students are looking forward to the second year where they have the opportunity to travel to Perth.
