The Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics hosted a special cocktail party on Friday 26 October 2007 to celebrate the achievements of women engineering graduates as part of Engineers Australia – The Year of Women in Engineering.
120 graduates returned to UWA, along with industry guests and University staff to listen to former engineering graduate, Sue Murphy (General Manager – Water Corporation).

This event recognised the individual achievements of our women engineers and the University’s achievement in awarding 875 female graduates with a Bachelor of Engineering degree since 1973.

The Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics would like to acknowledge Engineers Australia and Alcoa World Alumina Australia’s generous support and to graduates and industry partners who helped celebrate the occasion.
