UWA Hockey Club has announced the appointment of former Kookaburra, club legend and life member, Tristram Woodhouse, as Director of Hockey.  Woodhouse’s appointment is a new position at UWAHC and forms a significant part of the club’s continued push to lead hockey in Western Australia in sporting excellence.  Woodhouse played 270 games for UWAHC, winning 5 Premier League Premierships and being the club leading goal scorer with an amazing 310 goals.  Woodhouse will be responsible for providing leadership on both the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of UWAHC’s senior and junior hockey programmes.    Woodhouse joins having most recently performed a similar role at Whitford Hockey Club in Perth's northern suburbs; he has also undertaken similar roles overseas, most notably at Wimbledon Hockey Club in London. "We are very excited to have Trid involved in our club and hockey program again", UWAHC President Michael Boyce said.   "This is an important step for our club as we seek to improve the member experience for all of our club members and to take the club to the next level both on and off the field".  With the appointment of Woodhouse into this role, UWAHC looks forward to again setting the standard for hockey and sporting excellence in Australia.
