UWA Judo Club has been awarded Best New Club Initiative at the 2019 National Club Recognition Awards.
The National Club Recognition Awards recognise outstanding success in club membership, activities and community profile.
Ranked eighth nationally, UWA Judo won the award for the judo exchange between the University of Tsukuba and UWA.
UWA sends a group of UWA judoka and sports science students on exchange to the University of Tsukuba, a program that strengthens educational and cultural ties between the two institutions.
