3 members of UWA School of Biological Sciences will embark on the oceanographic research vessel RV Falkor for an expedition off south east and south west of Albany.
The team are being invited to participate in Great Australian Deep Sea Coral and Canyon Adventure led by OI’s Dr Julie Trotter and Dr Paolo Montagna from the Institute of Polar Science (IPS) in Italy. The team of scientist will use the an array of equipment and instruments including a deep-sea remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to study the deep sea ecocsystems in the canyons.
