Team UWA will look to bounce back in tournament two of Aon Uni 7s as they travel to Bond University this weekend (28-29 September).
After a first round bye the team will face fellow new-comers University of Technology Sydney, who finished second in the previous tournament.
A broken collarbone for Dom du Toit leaves the Australian star sidelined, joining UWA student Zoe Gillard on the injury list.
Star player Emma Tonegato will miss the action this week after earning Australian selection for the opening round of the 2019-2020 women's Sevens World Series in the US.
Meanwhile, Team UWA is boosted by the return of Crystal Walters into the travelling team.
Fielding one of the youngest teams in the competition, Team UWA is gaining valuable experience in elite national sport.
The Team UWA players for tournament two are:
- Brooklyn Joyce
- Langley Sesega
- Aiysha Wigley
- Pania Kara
- Vesinia Shaaff-Taufa
- Zion Taurima
- Niea Sym
- Rueben Cherrington
- Leanna Ryan
- Nicole Ledington
- Crystal Walters
- Tamika Jones
