You are invited to join the Australian String Quartet (ASQ) at the Government House Ballroom for a program of celebrated works by Schubert and Shostakovich, complemented by the world premiere of a work by Western Australian composer and UWA Conservatorium of Music lecturer James Ledger.
A contemporary flavour is added with an electric new work by James Ledger, now a leading figure among Australia’s composers, renowned for his ability to create striking imagery in musical form.
The ASQ are excited to be performing this concert with guest cellist Blair Harris.
