Graduation ceremonies for semester two will be held from 11-15 December 2018.

The change in date from March 2019 to December 2018 enables many students to graduate closer to their completion of studies and, for some students, means that they will be able to attend their ceremonies when previously they may not have.

Graduations are a significant milestone in a student's life. Support from across the university to finalise and process results and address any outstanding matters will be required, to help provide the majority of students with the opportunity to have their degree conferred during the December ceremonies.

The graduation dates and faculty configurations are published online, but are subject to change once more accurate numbers are known in late September. The Graduations team will work to mitigate changes and expect variations to be no greater than 24 hours either side of the currently published time.

Students whose results aren’t available in time, have supplementary or deferred final assessment, or are undertaking summer units, will be eligible to graduate in absentia at an appropriate time or can choose to attend the July 2019 ceremonies.
