Congratulations to Dr Louise Devenish, Head of Percussion at the Conservatorium of Music for winning the WA Award for Performance of the Year at the APRA AMCOS 2018 Art Music Awards.
This is the second time Louise has won the category “Best Performance” for WA - this year for

Congratulations also go to UWA graduate and renowned pianist and composer Carl Vine AO who won the Award for Excellence by an Individual.
Our tertiary education partner the West Australian Symphony Orchestra commissioned and performed this year's winning Orchestral Work of the Year,
Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra

Presented annually by
APRA AMCOS
and the Australian Music Centre, the awards recognise national achievement in composition, performance, music education and presentation of Australian music.
