After nearly six years with the University of Western Australia, David Harrison will be leaving the institution to take on the role of Chief of Staff to the Vice-Chancellor at Murdoch University. David's last day at UWA will be 18 May.

David started at UWA in 2012 and has most recently been the Director of Government and Corporate Communications. During his tenure, David has helped elevate UWA's profile with the government and the media, built on internal communications and revitalised the University's key publications. We thank David for his contribution and wish him well in his new role.

From mid-May the media and communications teams within Government and Corporate Communications will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and government relations to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.
