If you’re a champion of innovation and enterprise at UWA, nominate yourself – or someone you know -  for the IQ Awards 2018. Winners will receive a $2500 grant to support their project.

The IQ Awards recognise UWA researchers, staff and students who are developing creative solutions to problems worth solving.

UWA staff and researchers are eligible to enter two awards:

• The Research Innovation and Enterprise Award - recognises a UWA researcher who has applied learnings from their research to develop an innovative solution to a real-world problem. It celebrates knowledge translation through research enterprise, entrepreneurship and/or industry engagement.

• UWA Innovation Champion - recognises a researcher or staff member who has demonstrated a sustained commitment to promoting a culture of innovation, enterprise and industry engagement at UWA.

You can also nominate a UWA student entrepreneur for the Student Startup of the Year.

An independent judging panel will select three finalists for each award, with the winners announced at the award ceremony in May.  Winners will receive a $2500 grant, internal recognition and promotion of their achievement, and access to networks and mentors. Potential media opportunities may also be explored.
