The Fair Work Commission has approved The University of Western Australia Academic Employees Agreement 2017, which came into effect this week.

We can all be proud of the achievement this represents for the University as we move forward with employment conditions that are simple, contemporary and fair.  This is a testament to the work that has been done to modernise process and procedure while also providing fair and equitable outcomes that reward employees for their contributions to the University.

We expect The University of Western Australia Professional and General Employees Agreement 2017 to be approved shortly and come into effect prior to Christmas.
