The 2017 UWA Blues Awards took place on Friday 3 November, with a mixture of current UWA student athletes recognised alongside previous recipients.

MC Mick Colliss led a Q&A with 2017 Blues recipient and UWA student athlete Stephen Clough , who spoke about the world of the modern athlete and the quality of the UWA Sport Student Athlete Development Program.
Sports Council President Alexander Robinson and Sports Council Secretary Olivia Pisano awarded 2016 Blues badges and 2017 Blues plaques to the latest group of athletes to be inducted into the longstanding tradition.
