All around the world our alumni are making a difference in their chosen fields and I was pleased to share my vision for the University at alumni events in New York and London recently.

It was especially rewarding to speak to some of them about their UWA experience; through their passion for the University they continue to be wonderful ambassadors.

Back at home the Federal Government’s higher education reforms, which included plans to reduce funding and increase course fees, looks unlikely to progress through the Parliament. We remain closely engaged with Government and our peer institutions, working together to help design and build a strong and flexible higher education system for the future.
