Crowds of more than 5000 visitors came to Research Week (4-8 Sept) and chose from 60 diverse events that demonstrated the work of our researchers.

Thank you to all staff who contributed to, and participated in Research Week. We are delighted that the overall attendance has increased from previous years. We also received good media coverage featuring in The West Australian, the Subiaco Post, ABC radio, 6PR, RTR FM and Noongar radio, reaching more than 300,000 people.

A most popular event was the Three Minute Thesis which challenges Higher Degree by Research students to explain their research topic in language that anyone can understand in three minutes or less.

Research Week demonstrates to the community how UWA is making an impact on local and global communities.
