Good morning. Yesterday we welcomed the Minister for Agriculture and Food Alannah MacTiernan and other stakeholders to campus for an agricultural industry forum to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.

I have previously shared how we are encouraging deeper collaboration across the agriculture sector and this UWA-hosted forum is an example of how we can work with our key partners to drive this work.

I also had the pleasure of opening the Social Impact Festival yesterday which brings together some of Australia’s leading change makers, academics and business leaders to address society’s most complex issues.
