Research Week is nearly here and you have an opportunity to support colleagues by attending some of the fascinating events including archaeological discoveries of rock art, cell science through to virtual reality and driverless vehicles.

The face of Research Week this year is Professor Jo McDonald, who is leading the Murujuga: Dynamics of Dreaming project , an Australian Research linkage project exploring the extraordinary rock art estate in the Dampier Archipelago.

This national heritage area has a gallery of over one million works of rock art and there is a need to document this to understand the archaeological context of these ancient landscapes and what life was like on the north-west shelf of Western Australian 30,000 years ago.

The Research Week website is live for you to explore and you can register for any events that interest you.
