Good morning. Last week I was in Canberra and Melbourne to meet government and sector leaders, including the Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science Arthur Sinodinos, CSIRO Chief Executive Larry Marshall, and the Federal Shadow Minister for Education Tanya Plibersek.
As we focus on enhancing our external relationships and reputation, it was pleasing to have the opportunity to discuss the sector, its challenges and our strategic vision with some of our key national stakeholders.
Back in Perth, a team from the UWA School of Dentistry worked alongside the Tzu Chi Foundation over the weekend to provide dental care to close to 100 homeless people and refugees. This is an inspiring demonstration of the School’s commitment to our mission of advancing the welfare of our communities, more of which you can read about online.
