We are looking for projects to be undertaken by groups of 5th year students as a capstone for their software engineering and information technology degrees.

Projects are run over two or more successive semesters and allow the group to scope, build, deliver and maintain a software solution.

This software could be to support a research project, enhance or automate some work requirement, or enable a new way of teaching.

Your role in the project will be as the client. You will be required to meet with the group every couple of weeks to discuss user requirements, deployment options etc.

You are not required to have any experience with software development, and the project group will be mentored by an experienced software engineer.

If you have a project idea and are interested in supporting this unit, please send a brief description to Dr Tim French ( [email protected] ) and he will get in contact to follow up.
