In December it was announced that the simplified Staff Appraisal process will be launched in March this year.

As advised, all appraisals will be carried out within the same 8 week period each year to align with the IPE process, with the exception of this year, where we will be running 2 appraisals, one in March for Senior leaders and one for all employees in October to align with IPE.

Those senior leaders who wish to run the 2017 early March staff appraisal cycle for employees in their areas who are not senior leaders will have the discretion to do so, however please note that this is not mandatory.  In instances where a senior leader requires additional support, they may be asked to participate in the October cycle in addition to the March cycle.

Training for appraisers and appraisees will be available later this month and throughout 2017.  A full schedule of available sessions is available on the Staff Appraisal webpage www.staffappraisal.hr.uwa.edu.au . It is mandatory for appraisers to attend both training modules prior to conducting staff appraisals
