Western Uni games is off to a flying start, with the University of Western Australia competing in over 18 sports against university’s from across the state. The games, held in Bunbury and hosted by Edith Cowen University, are the biggest event on the WA tertiary sport calendar, and are played in the lead up to the Australian University Sport championships, which coincidentally are being held in Perth for 2016, the first time in six years the state has hosted the event.

Currently, we are nearing the end of the week long competition with finals matches starting tomorrow! UWA currently has 11 pennant chances out of 19 sports which is an amazing all round result!

As always, our biggest threat is Curtin who we will be up against in most of the finals, so very big day tomorrow and hopefully we can come away with a good result!

All the gold medal matches will commence after midday tomorrow and we should know by about 5.30pm tomorrow if we are the overall state champions so check in with us for all results!

Go Team UWA!!
