Colleagues
The Academic Staff Agreement provide for the establishment of the Academic Staff Consultative Committee (ACC). The role of the Committee is to enable direct consultation between management and employees on workplace relations and human resource matters. The membership of the Committee includes three elected Staff Representatives.
Nominations are now invited from staff members interested in serving as elected representative on this committee for a two year term between 2016 - 2018. Individuals nominating need to carefully consider their capacity to regularly attend committee meetings. ACC meetings are held monthly and last for approximately two hours.

NOMINATION PROCESS
Your nomination accompanied by a brief statement of no more than 100 words identifying relevant experience and interest in the particular committee and a current photograph (optional) should be forwarded by email or by letter to the Returning Officer, Lucette Cant in Human Resources by 5.00pm Monday 14, March 2016 .
If a single nomination is received the nominee will be automatically elected to the Committee. If more than one nomination is received a ballot of Academic Staff will be conducted. Staff will be advised by all-staff email as to whether a ballot will be required.
