Do you know a WA charity that could use some extra support?

The UWA Student Guild is now seeking prospective beneficiaries for the 2016 edition of the long-running fundraising event PROSH.

PROSH started in 1931 when students were ordered to donate to Children’s Hospital after writing a satirical newspaper that stirred up controversy. Since then, it’s become an annual tradition for UWA students to publish a paper satirising the issues of the moment and hit the streets in costume to sell the paper and raise funds for charities that support the WA community.

Teach Learn Grow, Diabetes WA and Youth Futures each received a share of the $80,000 raised in 2015, and now the Guild is looking for worthy causes to support next year.

If you’re involved with a charity that would be able to put a large donation to great use, please let them know about PROSH! More information and application details can be found at https://bit.ly/PROSHCharity
