UWA is proud to be a founder of the Perth International Arts Festival (PIAF), which remains one of the most inspiring and exciting arts festivals in the world, as well as the longest-running international arts festival in Australia.

Our campus plays host to a number of unique Festival experiences over the summer…even before the main event commences in February:

Lotterywest Festival of Films at UWA Somerville

Bring a picnic and enjoy a balmy summer evening under the stars and Norfolk Pines watching award-winning, first-run films from all over the world. Season One is now on until 7 February; Season Two runs from 8 February to 10 April 2016. Visit the PIAF website for session and ticket details.

Perth Writers Festival at UWA

Each year, over three days in February, the University plays host to the Perth Writers Festival , where fellow readers come together to celebrate a shared love of writing and literature. Full program details will be released in January.

For full details of what’s on during the 2016 Perth International Arts Festival, refer to the PIAF website .
