REX - Your new best friend for managing UWA’s key relationships

UWA’s recently launched REX which ushers in a new era in how we will store, track, manage and interact with UWA’s important stakeholder groups such as our alumni, donors, corporate partners and the community. The name itself highlights the key components of a successful Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system:

R elationships – the individual and organisations vital to our strategic goals

E ngagement – the methods by which we foster and ensure connection

e X change -  the access and availability of centralised information

While REX is now live, it is still very much ‘in development’ as a system and this will continue into the foreseeable future. So although we are keen to welcome new users to REX and encourage a culture of collaboratively managing our stakeholder relationships across the campus, initially our focus with the roll-out will be to ensure users of the previous system – the Raiser’s Edge – are comfortable with using REX. Their feedback and input will help us develop the system fully to put REX in the best position to be adopted by a much broader group of users across the University.
