Business Information and Technology Services will shortly be applying an upgrade to the University's Electronic Document and Records Management System, TRIM. This is a major upgrade that will result in an outage of TRIM, TRIM WebDrawer and University Policies.

TRIM will be taken offline to commence the upgrade process at 5pm on Friday 12th June.

Please SAVE and CHECK IN YOUR WORK PRIOR TO 5PM on Friday 12th June.

We also recommend that you log out of your computer but leave it turned on over the upgrade weekend so that the new software can be installed on your machine without any disruption to you on Monday morning.  However, if you choose to turn your machine off the new software will simply commence installing when you start your machine on Monday. Note that all MS Office applications must be closed while the TRIM software is installing on your computer.

Please note that TRIM has been rebranded and renamed by the vendors, HP. We will continue to use the name TRIM at UWA to refer to the application, however you will no longer see the word “TRIM” appear with the icon, instead you will see “ HP Records Manager ”.

TRIM Records Manager will be available from the start of business on Monday 15th June.

Note: WebDrawer and University Policies will be available from 3pm Sunday 14th June
