Indigenous students studying at the UWA Business School will now be able to apply for a new suite of valuable scholarships.

Sponsored by David Mack, the scholarships will be available to undergraduate and postgraduate students.

An Indigenous Residential Scholarship is valued at $20,000, Indigenous undergraduate commencing and continuing scholarships are valued at $10,000 each, and an Indigenous postgraduate scholarship is valued at $50,000. Indigenous study grants will also be available.

Dean of the UWA Business School, Professor Phil Dolan, said he hoped the scholarships would encourage more Indigenous students to study business.

"The generous support of David Mack will provide valuable financial assistance to Indigenous students who may not otherwise be able to study at the UWA Business School," Professor Dolan said.

"This is an important initiative and I'm looking forward to meeting our first group of David Mack Scholarship recipients."

Applications for all David Mack scholarships close on 2 March 2015. Applications and enquiries should be directed to UWA's School of Indigenous Studies by calling (08) 6488 2467 or emailing [email protected]
