Do you have a passion for making music? Grade 5 or above on your instrument? Interested in getting together, refining your skills and generally having a great time with other young musicians?

The School of Music and St George's College are proud to present the UWA Summer Music Academy! Run over 5 days in December, this residential course allows talented young musicians to come together and participate in ensembles, develop musicianship and aural skills, sing in a combined choir all whilst getting a taste of college life at UWA!

The Academy is open to instrumentalists (including pianists) aged 15-25 (younger students may attend if accompanied by an adult). Students will be mentored by UWA School of Music Staff and other invited guests, including respected music education specialist and conductor Prue Ashurst.

Students will be staying among the beautiful surrounds of St George's College and will enjoy not only high quality accommodation and catering but also a range of social activities to suit all interests. The Academy costs $800 and includes all tuition, accommodation, meals and social activities.

Want to start your summer holiday with a musical extravaganza? To find out more refer to the School of Music website or email [email protected] Late applications are still being accepted for this exciting program.
