The University of Western Australia's Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics has launched a new website for its Engineering Zone project (EZONE UWA).
The new online hub will serve as a platform for collaboration and engagement among the project's stakeholders and the wider community.
Director of EZONE UWA Dr Peter Lilly said, "This website marks a pivotal step for EZONE UWA and our vision to create a revolutionary research, teaching and learning facility that will advance WA's engineering, computing and mathematics capacity.
"We are seeing exciting progress on EZONE UWA with major investments like BHP Billiton's $12 million commitment.
"Visitors to the website can now stay updated on the project's latest developments and learn more about out how to get involved," said Dr Lilly.
EZONE UWA is the key teaching and learning facility of UWA's $400 million New Century Campaign. It will deliver modern learning and research facilities and represents the largest investment in engineering education in WA's history.
The website, which is available at www.ezone.uwa.edu.au, includes:
- The very latest updates and results on the project;
- Acknowledgement and details on partners and investors;
- Infrastructure plans and concept images and videos;
