Dr Meysam Banimahd, PhD CEng, Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Woodside Energy, has been appointed as an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Centre for Offshore Foundation Systems (COFS). Meysam is currently working with Professors Susan Gourvenec and Conleth O'Loughlin and PhD student Dimitra Zografou to optimize cyclic load design methods for offshore geotechnical systems. Dr Banimahd will bring his industry, technical and theoretical expertise to COFS which will benefit a range of research projects and teaching.
