The University of Western Australia's response to the possibility of industrial action next week.

The University of Western Australia is aware that staff who are members of the NTEU are planning industrial action starting next week.

At this stage the Union has not informed the University about what action it plans to take.

The University is constructively negotiating with the Union over a new Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.

We will continue to engage in good faith in order to have the matter resolved.

The University will do everything it can to ensure the impact of any industrial action on students returning for the new academic year is kept to a minimum.
