Public transport access to The University of Western Australia has been boosted with this week's launch of a new high-frequency bus service linking UWA and the QEII Medical Centre with Perth Central and Underground train stations as well as the Esplanade Busport.

The 950 "Superbus" will provide a continuous service from Morley Busport to QEII and UWA via Perth, improving public transport access from the north-eastern suburbs.

Additional trips will also operate between the Esplanade Busport and the Crawley campus every one to two minutes, to cater for periods of high demand.

The new 950 service will replace and incorporate all stops along the current 78 and 79 services while the existing 23, 102 and 107 services will continue to operate from the Esplanade Busport.

For more details about the 950 service call Transperth on 13 62 13 or visit: Transperth Service Updates.
