Elliot Clutterbuck, UWA Arts/Law student, Sport Scholarship recipient, Australian University Games competitior and World University 2012 Badminton Championships participant can now add recipient of the 2013 Prime Minister's Australia Asia Award to his list of achievements.

As one of only two Australian competitors at the World University Badminton Championships which were held in the Republic of Korea in November of 2012, Elliott and his team made made Australian history by winning their doubles match against India's number one team in this fiercly competitive sport. The team from the host country took out the overall championship with Japan, Chinese Taipei and the People's Republic of China winning other divisions.

The Prime Minister's Award has been the launching pad for many new and exciting opportunities for Elliott, as he is currently spending the year studying Chinese Law and Mandarin at Tsinghua University in Beijing and working at the major Chinese law firm Zhong Yin.
