I am delighted with the success of the launch of UWA's New Century campaign and excited by the possibilities it offers. Thank you to those who joined me and the Chancellor for the staff celebration. Our University can be at the forefront of the development of this State and this nation - by educating the very brightest students of today and tomorrow, undertaking world class research and generating the very best ideas and knowledge.

The $400m campaign will raise funds for scholarships, research chairs, postdoctoral fellowships and a research endowment fund, an Indigenous cultures museum and infrastructure in a new UWA Engineering zone.
