UWA student Nina Zheleva talks about her time so far studying Landscape Architecture:
"Landscape Architecture explores how humans interact with the environment from a cultural point of view - something I have always been interested in.
"Being a student at UWA has been the most interesting and challenging environment I have ever experienced. Landscape Architecture is so much more than I initially thought and every day there is something new to learn.
"When on campus, I spend the majority of my time in a studio - it is perhaps the most exciting part of the course for me; with the support of the lecturers we get the chance to explore and discover what the concept of design really is. Starting with a concept and finishing with a complete project is what I believe makes us most proud of our achievements."
The Landscape Architecture major is available to study as a degree-specific major within the Bachelor of Design or Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours). It may also be undertaken as a second major within the Bachelor of Design degree (if Integrated Design is the degree-specific major), as well as the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Science degrees.
