Without his mentor, computer pioneer Ed Roberts, Bill Gates may not have been inspired to found Microsoft.
So who knows what might happen when mentors from the Western Australian Symphony Orchestra take part in rehearsing and performing with outstanding young students from The University of Western Australia's School of Music.
The results will be on show in a concert brimming with the best-loved music of the classical period, from around 1750 to 1830. The Winthrop Singers will also join the ensemble to perform Beethoven's Romance in F, and four works by Mozart: Kyrie, the Jupiter Symphony, Serenade for Winds and Ave Verum.
The concert, Artistry! Sensation, is part of the School of Music's Artistry! series for 2012.
Tickets are available to media organisations and the Head of the Music School, Dr Alan Lourens, and conductor, Paul Wright, will be available for interview.
