The School of Music's Free Lunchtime Concert Series is back in full-swing for 2012.

This week's featured musician is Adam Lewin, who is currently undertaking his final year of study at The University of Western Australia.

Adam will take centre stage with his flute to present "Tattoos, Piercings and Flute Music".

During this performance, Adam will showcase some of his favourite contemporary flute repertoire, including works by Ian Clarke and Kazuo Fukushima.

Adam started playing the flute in his later years of primary school and since that time has become an accomplished performer (both in a solo capacity and as part of large ensembles).

He enjoys the more colourful side of flute and is known for his passion for, and focus on, contemporary music.

During Thursday's concert, Adam will be accompanied by pianist Martina Liegat-Wilson.
