Last night Professor Ian McLean gave an excellent lecture on the rise of Indigenous Collecting as part of the public program for Purnu, Tjanpi, Canvas Art of the Ngaanyatjarra Lands exhibition.
On Friday (March 9) the program continues with a Conversation between Pauline Williams, Exhibition Coordinator of John Curtin Gallery, and Mark Stewart, Curator of the Murdoch University Collection, on the role of University's in the care and presentation of Aboriginal art.
Their talk in the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery within the Dr Harold Schenberg Arts Centre begins at 1 pm.
