One of Western Australia's oldest and rarest species of frog has been found to be extremely susceptible to changes in climate, according to a study by researchers at The University of Western Australia.
Yale University postdoctoral research associate Danielle Edwards carried out the study as her PhD project at UWA with Winthrop Professor Dale Roberts, from UWA's School of Animal Biology.
The study 'Genetic diversity and biogeographic history inform future conservation management strategies for the rare sunset frog Spicospina flammocaerulea' was published in the latest issue of CSIRO's Australian Journal of Zoology .
