The Australian Microscopy & Microanalysis Research Facility (AMMRF) invites you to discover a world of structure, function and activity beyond the naked eye, captured using some of the world's most advanced imaging technology.

The AMMRF is proud to present this collection of images from its network of centres around Australia.  AMMRF's expertise and technology is available to all Australian researchers, also enabling innovation through partnerships with industry.

Understanding the properties of materials at microscopic to atomic scales is key to much scientific problem-solving, in areas as diverse as medicine, engineering and archeology. Microscopy helps us understand the world around us and design new technologies.
Look down the microscope for new sustainable materials, renewable fuels and future solutions from healthcare to engineering.

The AMMRF invite you to share in this colourful odyssey of scientific discovery at an exhibition launch on:

Friday 18 November 2011 6-8 pm
at Questacon
King Edward Terrace, Canberra ACT 2600
