Congratulations to the three lucky library users who won prizes in the Rock Einstein competition organised by Elsevier in March.

Associate Professor Paul Abbott (School of Physics) won the Grand Prize of an iPad (3G+Wifi) whilst Samantha Blake (Medical and Dental Library) and Associate Professor Andrew Rate (School of Earth and Environment) won a SciVerse ScienceDirect Hub and a Dual Watch respectively. The winners were presented with their prizes by an Elsevier representative in a ceremony held at the Science Library on Thursday 21st July.

Elsevier publishes medical and scientific literature and the UWA Library subscribes to a number of their products. This particular competition required participants to use the SciVerse/ScienceDirect databases to answer questions about the new research tools and apps on offer. More Elsevier competitions will be announced over the next few months!
