State-of-the-art technology that will provide rapid, relatively low-cost and accurate genome information previously unavailable in WA will be launched at Royal Perth Hospital on Monday 31 January.
Purchased as a result of a generous donation by Perth businessman Charles Morgan, the high performance equipment with applications in health, agriculture and ecology will be launched at 10.00am.
The equipment is at the Lotterywest State Biomedical Facility: Genomics (LSBFG), a facility supported by The University of Western Australia through the School of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, PathWest and the WA Department of Health.
