Since the last edition of the International Centre newsletter there have been a number of staff changes.

In November the International Centre welcomed back the Regional Manager for North Asia, Margaret Anderson.  Marg has returned from maternity leave and will initially be working two days a week.  Sadly this means that Helen Langley, who has been filling in for Marg while she has been on leave, will be leaving us at the end of December.  We wish Helen all the best for the future.

Alicia Zablah, the Administrative Assistant for Ausaid will also be leaving us,  Janine Tinley will be Project Officer (Sponsorship) working in the International Sponsored Student Unit and the Marketing Officer's role formerly occupied by Janine will be filled in the new year.  Our best wishes go to Alicia and we wish her every success for the future.

Joel Wittwer sadly will be leaving the exchange and study abroad section of the International Centre in December to take up a  new position at the University of Melbourne.  Up until the end of June 2011 the following staffing arrangements will be in place:

1.  Carrie Haloun and Serena Young will be job-sharing Joel's position until week ending 11 February 2011

2.  From 11 February Serena will undertake the position on a full time basis until 21 June 2011 to fill the absence left by Carrie who will proceeds on parental leave from that date until 2013.

3.  From 11 February a new staff member will assume the duties of the front counter position on a full time basis.

Please remember to visit the Centre's contact list for up-to-date staffing details.
