COFS congratulates Shazzad Hossain on his recent promotion to Assistant Professor!
Shazzad has also become an ARC Australian Postdoctoral Fellow (Industry). It has been a month of accolades for him and most deserved.
Shazzad first came to UWA in 2005 and completed his PhD with COFS in 2008. He then started working at COFS as a Research Associate. His current research interests are stability of spudcan foundations on non-homogeneous clay, Punch-through potential for spudcan foundations on layered clay and mitigation, Large deformation finite element analysis and Centrifuge modelling.
