The University of Western Australia will launch its new Renewable Energy Vehicle (REV) - a Lotus Elise S2 - this Friday.

The high performance vehicle will be unveiled at the official launch at 12 noon.

However, media representatives are invited to a pre-launch briefing at UWA at 9.45am.

Commerce, Science and Innovation Minister Mr Bill Marmion MLA;  Professor Thomas Braunl, School of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering; and the REV Student Manager, Ian Hooper will be available at the briefing.
