The UWA Research Development Awards provide an opportunity for early career researchers to develop skills required for submitting grant applications and research plans. These skills would be built upon for future research projects and to build track records for external grant competitiveness.
Grants are awarded for one year only. A maximum of $30,000 can be awarded and up to an additional $14,500 for teaching relief.
Several examples of successful applications from previous rounds of UWA Research Development Awards (RDAs) are available, as is feedback on developing applications from Debbie Thackray . Many thanks to the supportive researchers who have provided these examples.
