ECM Faculty Focus
Western Australia's future transport infrastructure needs will be discussed through the lenses of government, industry and academia at a free public event at 5.30pm on Tuesday, 20 April at the UWA Business School (please note that the date has been postponed from 17 March).
The discussion will include a snap shot of major projects in WA: oil and gas, SWIS and NWIS, rail and port infrastructure; international standards driving best practice in infrastructure management; infrastructure reliability and efficiency; infrastructure life cycle and cost management; emerging challenges in building and sustaining human capability to utilise infrastructure effectively; role of human and organisation design factors in determining infrastructure reliability; and an examination of social dimensions in transportation management.
