A huge thank you to all Faculty staff who so very enthusiastically volunteered their time to assist at our Faculty Welcome on Wednesday 17 th February. The welcome was a great success and the initial feedback from students indicates they had a really great time and feel a lot more confident about starting their life as ECM students! This would not have been possible without the support of our fantastic staff helpers!

Over 750 new students, including a vibrant mix of local, international, undergraduate and postgraduates, descended upon UWA from 8.15am (early and eager!) for a fun icebreaker session on Riley Oval. During the various activities our ‘newbies' had the opportunity to meet other students as well as a number of our Faculty's academic and professional staff, before heading into the Octagon Theatre for the formal welcome.

Friday,19 th February, marks the end of Orientation Week and the enrolment process and with a record number of undergraduates enrolling in Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics courses, it's been an extremely busy one! Thank you to the Faculty's Student Affairs team for all the hard work and dedication they have put into guiding and enrolling these new students. We hope that the extensive information provided through the various pre-enrolment and welcome sessions, will help to ensure our new cohort is ready to hit the ground running!

To all of our fantastic Faculty staff...we look forward to your help again next year!
