A great way to find out more about the area you're interested in studying is to speak to people who are already studying it, and to check out the facilities these students use in their course. You'll get to do all of this - and much more - if you attend UWA's A Day in the Life of an Engineering Student or A Day in the Life of an Environmental Science Student .

These two separate events will give you the opportunity to find out more about university life and post-school study options through a series of workshops and activities. You'll have the chance to speak to current UWA staff and students and find out more about the career options in your area of interest. And best of all, there's no cost to attend either day.

A Day in the Life of an Engineering Student is set for Wednesday, 7 th April 2010 and is open to any Year 11 student who wants to know more about Engineering at UWA.

A Day in the Life of an Environmental Science Student is happening on Friday, 9 th April 2010 and is open to all Year 11 and 12 students with an interest in studying Environmental Science at UWA.

If you're interested in attending either day, you'll need to complete an application form and tell us briefly why you want to come. Speak to your science teacher for more information and an application form, or contact the UWA Prospective Students Office on 6488 4631 or [email protected] .

Applications close on Friday, 19th March 2010.
